[his head is swimming - being this close to Darkrai of all peoplemon was... mind-pounding. there was no numbing. he could feel his heartbeat drumming through his whole body.

but as much as he was freaking out, a hand just slowly slides up to rest on Darkrai's chest.]

[ As nice as this is, Darkrai isn't going to push it much longer. It's taken Arceus only knew how long to get to this point, and the last thing he wants is to start over all over again.

His heart was thundering away as well, but he pulls back just slightly, to give them both a chance to breathe-- And for Cresselia to pull away if he wants. ]

[When he finally pulls away he inhales a sharp breath, eyes wide. Immediately his mind is screaming all sorts of things at him and he quickly stares at the bottom of his robes, hand curling into a tiny fist against Darkrai's chest.

Was he going to make fun of him now?]

Darkrai lets go with one arm, slipping his hand around Cresselia's, bringing them up to kiss his fingers in a way that's distinctly almost nervous.

[Well that kiss gets him to relax, his face flushing red as his fingers slowly uncurl in his hand. His eyes flick from Darkrai's face to his hand, to the ground...he's just as nervous, but he's not stopping him.]

[ He sighs quietly, bowing his head to press his forehead to Cressy's hand, closing his eyes and taking soundless, deep breaths to calm himself down. Don't fuck it up now, Rai, what ever you do-- ]

[That small show of nervousness and affection gets him to give a tiny smile, there's a quiet chuckle, before he throws caution to the wind and just... rests his forehead to Darkrai's, hand holding his.]

[ He nearly jumps out of his skin, eyes snapping open, but he keeps himself from leaping away or moving away at all. After a minute, he relaxes again, not quite closing his eyes. ]

...hehe... [He's giggling again, but it's a nice sound, a happy sound. A...comfortable sound.]

[ He mimes the laugh, sighing quietly. This was... nice. ]

[He wont pull away, and he wont say anything to try and ruin this moment. He just wants to be close to him right now.]

[ It's about now that things have settled on 'enjoyable and comfortable' that his usual impulse to put an end to the moment before something happens to fuck it up surfaces. He calmly crushes it under his mental foot and closes his eyes. ]

[Then you can have his arms around your shoulders, as he gently lets go of your hand. Another hug, and his forehead against yours...he looks really girly like this, but he doesn't care right now. His guard is completely down and he wants to savour the moment before either of them can ruin it somehow.]
